It's hard to believe that we are at the end of our second day. It all started this morning with a trip to the Science museum where among many things we took part in an interactive music quiz.  Did you know that those who prefer Queen are more scientific and those who like the Spice Girls...

First day over.  We had breakfast on board the

boat and then after a short drive stopped at Pilas Palas Butterfly Farm for lunch!  We had a tour round to see the different animals, (meeting a python, giant millipede and of course the many butterflies flying free) before...

For fabulous creativity, enthusiasm and teamwork, the P7 Superkid this week is awarded to ALL OF P7!  You were all fantastic - well done!

P7 Leavers' Day out will be on Thursday 25th June.  We are going to the cinema and then heading back to school for a 'take away' lunch.  YUM!  The cost of this trip is £15 which includes the cinema, lunch and the cost of transport.  Thank you

Huge congratulations to P7 for the wonderful tasty delights they created during Masterchef.  The smells emanating from the P7 classroom drew in many a visitor during the course of the morning as food was chopped, whizzed, food processed and cooked!

When Primary 7 pupil Gerard Murphy was in P5, his best friend Piaras died.  Since then Gerard has organised a sponsored event each year to raise money for Clic Sargent. 

To date he has raised over £1600.

P7 Residential Meeting - Tuesday 19th May at 2.15pm in the P7 Classroom.  All information about our residenital to Wales will be given out at this meeting.

'P7 Does Masterchef' - Wednesday 20th May. 

The P4-P7 Sports' Day will be on Tuesday 12th May 2015 and will be held in the Brooke Activity Centre. It will run from 1pm-3pm.  Children are to be collected from the centre if a parent/guardian is there watching.  If not, children are to be collected from school as normal.

School closes at 1.45pm (P1-3) and at 2pm (P4-7) this Friday 1st May, ahead of the May Bank Holiday on Monday. 

P1-3 parents are encouraged to collect older siblings at 1.45pm to ease congestion in the school car park.
