After a lovely long summer, P7 are now back into the swing of school life and working very hard.

Primary 7 had a fantastic time on their residential to Manchester last week.

We arrived in Holyhead early on Tuesday morning and visited the Pili Palas Butterfly Farm on our way to our hotel. It was amazing! The butterflies loved landing on our colourful red caps.

We said goodbye to Mr Shannon (from Coleraine University) last week, and thanked him for all his hard work and exciting lessons.  The 'Pacman' game during PE was a particular favourite!

Hit TV show Dragons' Den will soon have some competition......Primary 7 are about to begin their project (linked to our work on persuasive writing) where they will come up with their own original idea and persuade the Dragons (Miss McClean, Bernie and Emma) to invest in it.

We had a fantastc Super learning Eco day in Primary 6 with lots of Eco and nature activities. These included building animal dens, making  healthy eating kebabs and nature collages. We also made our own Eco raps to encouage people to be Eco friendly and aware.

Our trip to Manchester is fast approaching! There will be an important meeting on Monday 9th May at 2pm in the Primary 7 classroom. Please do your best to attend or send an adult representative to find out the information.

A group of Primary 7 pupils took part in F1 in Schools and won the award for Best Team Identity!

It was a fantastic day out and we all learnt a lot about F1 cars and managing a team.

A huge well done to P7 who participated in a number of workshops and days out with pupils from Cranmore and Malone.  They talked about the different identities and cultures here in Northern Ireland.

The days out culminated in a 'Celebration of our Traditions' performance in Malone College.

On Tuesday 8th March there will be a STEM morning for P6 and 7 in the school assembly hall.

Parents are welcome to attend.
