November 2024 Education and Training Inspectorate (ETI) Inspection Report stated:

All members of the inclusive and dynamic community of Oakwood Integrated Primary School and Nursery Unit are fully committed to the aims and values of integrated education and are passionate about their vision, Learning, Working and Playing Together for a Better Tomorrow.

The ETI will continue to work with Oakwood Integrated Primary School and Nursery Unit, including to share examples of highly effective practice from which others may learn.

Super Learning Days

Super Learning Days are days when children are taken off timetable and a variety of learning-to-learn activities are experienced. It is a day where our children begin to think about how they learned rather than what they learned. Parents and grandparents are invited to attend SLD to learn alongside the children.

Oakwood's Super Learning Days have been recognised as exemplars of good practice by the Department of Education and were filmed for ESaGS.tv - Educational Television.
