This week our nursery class have been reading The Scarecrows Wedding and singing Dingle Dangle Scarecrow. We then made our own scarecrows. They look fabulous!

We used Oreos to show the phases of the moon.

Beatriz from Sentinus visited us to teach us about Climate Change. We made some different molecules using sweets and playdoh and we carried out an experiment to discover if ice would melt quicker in the ocean or on land.

We have been looking at the topic of measurement. We went outside to find items to measure and used our feet and trundle wheels to find their length!

P3 enjoyed reading ‘The Rainbow Fish’ this week. They made rainbow fish in activity based learning with beautiful shiny scales! Great work! 🐟 🐠

P3 went on a listening walk wearing their ‘listening ears’. We have been learning about our different senses, so were using our ears to hear different noises around the playground and draw them on our whiteboards! 👂

Well done to our P4-P7 football team, who competed in the Lisburn Football School League!
