We made chocolate apples as a little half term treat. They were yummy and we enjoyed making them. 

We looked at what a satellite is and the components that a satellite needs. We then designed and constructed our own. They were all super creative!

We used Oreos to show the phases of the moon.

Beatriz from Sentinus visited us to teach us about Climate Change. We made some different molecules using sweets and playdoh and we carried out an experiment to discover if ice would melt quicker in the ocean or on land.

We thoroughly enjoyed our whole school Sponsored Walk on Thursday 29^th September 2022.The sun shone and the children chattered their way around Killeaton.

We had a GREAT day at Pathways Adventure Activities where we did some mountain biking, had fun on the inflatables, toasted marshmallows and did some archery. The sun also shone for our visit. It was a really fun day - thank you Pathways! 😁

Well done to the P3 class who have grown the tallest sunflower so far. 🌻 

The Eco Committee, along with Miss Russell and Miss Patterson, attended the Eco Schools Awards in the Island Arts Centre where we were awarded our 9th Green Flag. Well done to the whole school community on this achievement! 😊

We celebrated the Queen’s Jubilee with a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party outside and we got to dress up also! 😊

We are delighted to share that we have achieved our Green Flag Award again this year. Thank you so much to our whole school community in helping and assisting towards this and a special thanks to P6 and our Eco Committee - Noah, Lola and Ryan. 😊
