This morning we had a visit from Gary from the Red Cross who taught us lots of first aid. It was super interesting and useful. 

We enjoyed a little outdoor tea party on Friday to celebrate the Coronation of the King. 

We have been enjoying learning how to play badminton with our coach Jonny from Ulster Badminton. 

We have been learning how to stitch. We stitched our initial and then a background. They look fab! ✨

We enjoyed attending our badminton celebration in the Leisureplex today where we got time to play badminton with and meet pupils from other schools who have also taken part in the programme. Thank you to Ulster Badminton for organising this day! 😁

We have been learning about how our actions have an impact on the habitats and creatures around us. We created a forest or underwater habitat to show some of the ‘Carbon Sinks’ that exist.

We carried out an experiment to see what a chemical reaction between vinegar and baking soda does to a balloon. 🎈 

We learnt about Kandinsky and looked at his artwork. We then recreated his painting by mixing lots of new colours of our own.

We enjoyed a visit from the allotments this week. We planted pea sprouts, did a scavenger hunt and learnt about healthy eating.
