We completed the NI Water Escape Challenge. It was quite tricky but we were delighted to receive some goodies in the post. 💦 

Teamwork divides the task and multiplies the success. ❤️

We are learning about fire this week in P1 . We have been role playing emergency situations and locating fire exits as well as extinguishers around the school.

Today we worked in small groups to make 'Magic Medicine'. We had to design the product, come up with a product name and decide what magic it did. We then used our 'imperative verbs' to write the instructions on how to make it. Great teamwork! 

P4 loved learning all about Van Gogh and his art. Their Starry Night art pieces are stunning! 

As part of our anti-bullying week activities, we were thinking about how we can fill someone’s bucket by being kind. We decided on 2/3 things to do to make someone else’s day and we also wrote a kind note to another member of the class. 😊

We are really enjoying getting outside in P2. Look at all those happy smiles. Our transport topic has been so much fun this week both inside and outside the class. 

We are really enjoying our transport topic this week. As part of our learning centres we made paper airplanes. We took them outside to test them. It was very windy which caused lots of bumpy flying. 

We looked at phases of the moon and recreated them using Oreos. 🌑 🌒 🌓 

P6 have enjoyed working as team and using iZak9 to solve maths problems.

We learnt about Guy Fawkes and the 5th of November. We then created our own fireworks display using scratch boards. They are so colourful in our classroom! 🎆 

We have been celebrating Anti-bullying Week through our topic of Elmer ⭐️🌈⭐️

P4 have been working on ‘Aniti-bullying’ tasks this week. The theme this year is ‘One Kind Word’. Today we designed ‘ Anti-bullying’ super heroes. 

Building submarines in P2 as part of our transport learning. The children decided that it would be fun to use the climbing equipment instead of the construction to make this particular model. 

We are really enjoying exploring all the different ways to travel in P2. We even got to make our own bus and sing ‘The wheels on the bus’. 🚌
