Yes, we said potatoes!
Some P7 pupils took on the challenge of transforming an ordinary potato into a character from one of their favourite books. 

P2 really enjoying sharing all their activities  for World Book Day online. Lots of reading in funny places, sharing favourite books and making amazing Potato book characters. Brilliant work today P2! 

Today in Nursery, we had lots of fun discussing our favourite book characters and painting them on to potatoes. We chose Ninja Turltes, Princesses and hedgehogs to name a few!

We are so excited that spring is here and Mckenna summed it up in her lovely, colourful poem. 🌼

This week in Nursery and through remote learning, we have been talking about our feelings and how we express them. We have created really cool videos of our feelings monsters!

This week, as part of our home learning we have been creating Venn Diagrams. Jessie sorted out her Harry Potter characters and organised them depending on whether they were boys, girls or teachers. 😊

After an amazing snowfall at the weekend, the theme for Monday was all things winter!

We listened to snow themed music, wrote poems, created imaginative stories about being stuck in snow globes and played some winter maths games.

In P2 this week we are enjoying lots of fun activities around the Gruffalo story. One family decided to make this fabulous Gruffalo cake. A lot of big numbers were added together in the cake making process. The end result is amazing! ❤️

As part of our home learning this week, P5 have been working on a project. They have chosen a person who inspires them and have researched about their life. Jake chose to complete his project on Roald Dahl (who we love in P5) and created this great poster with facts, pictures and drawings....

As part of homelearning some children have had a go at a Mini First Aid Course. It was lots of fun and they gained some great new skills.

Remote learning won’t stop P7 from investigating scientific principles. We love using Explorify to discover fun ways of learning. This week we started our Titanic topic and thought about air pressure and the effect it can have on water.
