P4 have been doing a range of lively activities to celebrate March being Integrated Month. The theme this year is Frirndship/togetherness and hope. 

We enjoyed week 1 of our biodiversity programme where we got to make bird boxes. Aidan, Debbie and Ciara helped us use the tools to put the boxes together and are going to hang them around our school grounds. Hopefully we spot lots of visitors over the coming months. 🐦 

We have been doing persuasive writing recently and so we decided to use our persuasive techniques to carry out a debate. The children had to prepare arguments for or against a statement and present it to the class. They had the opportunity to respond to other teams comments before we voted on...

There were lots of fab outfits on the go in P6. We enjoyed sharing about our favourite characters and doing some book related activities. 📚😊

We were learning about the different layers of the ocean and made a model using different liquids to represent them.

P5 enjoyed a visit from the NI Fire Service today. They learnt a lot about fire safety and what to do in a fire. We then went out to see the fire engine and even got to have a go using the hose! 🚒

This term we are looking at Narrative Writing in our Literacy. Today we looked at front covers. We designed our own new covers for Cinderella.
