Well done to our P4 children this term with the highest progress in our Accelerated Reader programme. 

P3 got an exciting delivery this week - some caterpillars! 🐛 Over the next few weeks we will get to watch them grow, form a chrysalis and then hopefully emerge as beautiful butterflies! 🦋

Buzzzzzz! Today P3 became bumblebees 🐝 We learnt about the important job bees have in pollination, helping to grow beautiful flowers in gardens and parks 🌸

Our football team is out competing at the Integrated Football Tournament today. Thank you to Mr Carson and Cranmore Integrated PS for hosting this fantastic event! 

P4 love participating in their daily Daily Mile. It helps to focus and concentrate in class for the rest of the day. Plus we love getting the extra excercise each day! 

We have been enjoying learning how to play badminton with our coach Jonny from Ulster Badminton. 

We have been learning how to stitch. We stitched our initial and then a background. They look fab! ✨

Every month, pupil's from each class (P4 - P7) are recognised for their outstanding effort, willingness to learn new skills and super team work. They are our Oakwood Sports Stars!

We enjoyed attending our badminton celebration in the Leisureplex today where we got time to play badminton with and meet pupils from other schools who have also taken part in the programme. Thank you to Ulster Badminton for organising this day! 😁

A huge well done to the P3 children who today received their Sacrament of Reconciliation with Father Colin in Christ the Redeemer Parish, Lagmore. 

We have been learning about how our actions have an impact on the habitats and creatures around us. We created a forest or underwater habitat to show some of the ‘Carbon Sinks’ that exist.
