We were finding out about Spitfires. We learnt that they played an important role in the Battle of Britain. There are only around 50 left and someone in our class has actually got to sit in one! 😮😃

We took on the Sustrans challenge to try and make lots of journeys to school by walking or cycling.🚲

In P5 we have been having some visits from our friend Ralphie the Elf. He has inspired us to design our own Christmas elves. How exciting! 😃

We have been learning about the different features of triangles. We made the four types by cutting and sticking straws. 😊

We have been learning about the Blitz as part of our WW2 topic. We looked at famous London buildings and created a silhouette painting based on these. I’m sure you’ll agree these look fantastic, what amazing artists we have in P5. 😃

Our new, purpose built nursery is fabulous.  The children and staff are loving learning in these beautiful surroundings with all our new indoor and outdoor equipment.  

We are delighted with our new nursery building and outdoor space.  

We are working really hard on our times tables. It’s good getting outside to practise them with chalk! 😊

We enjoyed lots of measuring activities, both indoor and outdoor. We used rulers, metre sticks, measuring tapes and trundle wheels. 

There was such excitement as we welcomed our nursery pupils into their gorgeous, new Nursery building.  Lots of exciting things to see and do!
