A huge well done to this week's Super Kid Eva! Eva did fabulous writing in her Literacy! Great job! 

We are learning about Elmer this week and next as it will be anti-bullying week. We are celebrating our differences by making some Elmer masks and going on a big parade.

Emily had lots of fun at home this week with her online homework. She was finding things to weigh in Kg and grams! Even poor Honey her dog was part of her homework! 

P3 have been very busy this week! 

In Primary 1 we have learning about Autumn. We collected confers and leaves for our number work to count. We made little hedgehogs using play doh and spaghetti.

P.3 had lots of fun working through the different Literacy task board activities! 

We have been learning our new sounds and numbers in Primary One.

Our P1 class are settling in to Oakwood and making new friends. What a happy bunch!

Today in Nursery, we have been working hard on writing our names. The girls have done a fantastic job 🌟

We are working really hard on our times tables. It’s good getting outside to practise them with chalk! 😊

We enjoyed lots of measuring activities, both indoor and outdoor. We used rulers, metre sticks, measuring tapes and trundle wheels. 

In Nursery we are over the moon to have had our new play park installed. We have been having lots of fun so far! 

Each year, at least one class from Oakwood IPS takes part in the Young Writers competition. When Hannah was in P6 she submitted her poem, 'Not Just...

We love the way oil pastels smudge to create the image of movement. Our bird display really brightens up the classroom.
