Look at our fantastic pupil council members! They will join the representatives from P1 - 6 to be the pupil voice of Oakwood!

Well done to our newly elected class council members. They will ensure all of P7's thoughts and suggestions are listened to and are taken to the whole school pupil council.

A huge congratulations to our P7 and P6 representatives who attended the 2nd Inter-school table quiz at Meadow Bridge Primary School last week.

Yahya, Ciara, Cora and Ben were amazing and tested their knowledge in 9 challenging rounds of questions.

After a lovely long summer, P7 are now back into the swing of school life and working very hard.

We have so many fun things happening this year such as our collaboration with Cranmore IPS and Malone College, growing crops at Colin Glen Allotments and our residential to the Share...

Primary 7 had a fantastic time on their residential to Manchester last week.

We arrived in Holyhead early on Tuesday morning and visited the Pili Palas Butterfly Farm on our way to our hotel. It was amazing! The butterflies loved landing on our colourful red caps.

Hit TV show Dragons' Den will soon have some competition......Primary 7 are about to begin their project (linked to our work on persuasive writing) where they will come up with their own original idea and persuade the Dragons (Miss McClean, Bernie and Emma) to invest in it.

Our trip to Manchester is fast approaching! There will be an important meeting on Monday 9th May at 2pm in the Primary 7 classroom. Please do your best to attend or send an adult representative to find out the information.

Our P7 MasterChef event was due to take place on Thursday 19^th May, however this date has been changed to the afternoon of Monday 20^th June.

On Tuesday 8th March there will be a STEM morning for P6 and 7 in the school assembly hall.

Parents are welcome to attend.
