After an amazing snowfall at the weekend, the theme for Monday was all things winter!

We listened to snow themed music, wrote poems, created imaginative stories about being stuck in snow globes and played some winter maths games.

Remote learning won’t stop P7 from investigating scientific principles. We love using Explorify to discover fun ways of learning. This week we started our Titanic topic and thought about air pressure and the effect it can have on water.

Learning Centres

Even in the last week of term we keep our brains active during Learning Centre tasks. This a rotation of 5 fun activites each lasting 20minutes. Today we worked on:

At a time when pupils can't bring items in from home, we put the P7 art cupboards to the test and the children created such beautiful decorations for our classroom tree.

Primary 7 took up Ulster University's challenge to create a piece of work showing 'Our School, Our Community and Our Future'. Some pupils completed their work at home and sent through a photo of it, while others worked on their submission in class.

Sustrans Superstars!
