Parents' Council have organised FREE mid-term discos for our pupils on Friday 21st October 2016. 

P2-3 from 1-1.50pm and P4-7 from 2-2.50pm.

Come along in casual clothes or dress to impress!

From tomorrow, the children here at Oakwood are going to be participating in The Daily Mile. Each class at a time of the teacher's choosing will complete 10 laps of the playground, which equals a miles.

As a Healthy school, we hope that this initiative will help keep our children fit...

Our Annual Sports Day will be held in the school playground on Thursday 12th May 2016 (weather permitting).

Seeds are planted and are starting to grow!

Translink Safety bus visited P5 to remind the children of how to stay safe on a bus.   Susan and Kevin were very impressed with the knowledge P5 had and their behaviour.   

P5 starred as the people of Oz in our recent production.  

P5 are currently working as Space Biologists.    They are taking part in the the RHS Space experiment.   100 seeds have been in space and 100 have stayed on Earth.   We have sown the seeds and will wait in anticipation to see which ones are which.  

Further to our recent IQM Flagship review, I am delighted to announce that Oakwood IPS has maintained Flagship status for another year.
