P2 have been learning all about 2D and 3D shapes and their properties. We went on a shape hunt to see what shapes we could find around our school!

We went outside in P2 to have fun with snails! We looked for snails, followed their trails, and made lots of interesting, swirly patterns using water bottles and chalk.

We're having a great time during math week in P2! To wrap up the week, we went to Forest school and measured sticks to create a big and small Funny Bones skeletons. Everyone used wonderful math language in P2!

We really enjoy our time at Forest School on Friday mornings. During our last visit, we had a great time exploring and gathering things that represent Autumn. There were so many beautiful colours around!

This week, our topic is Funny Bones. The children had a great time learning interesting facts about our bones. We did a lot of fun activities that helped us understand how our bodies are put together.

We had fun painting pictures of ourselves. There are a lot of very skilled artists in P2! ❤️🎨

We really enjoyed the Gruffalo book in P2. We produced amazing art work. Look and see 😍

We loved making the Gruffalo in the tuft tray.

We really enjoyed celebrating World Book day in P2. We enjoyed painting our favourite book characters, made bookmarks, wore our comfy pjs and shared some hot chocolate. We all had a great day. ❤️

We really enjoyed listening to the Nativity story in P2. Now we are retelling it in our way during playtime.

We are really enjoying getting outside in P2. Look at all those happy smiles. Our transport topic has been so much fun this week both inside and outside the class. 

We are really enjoying our transport topic this week. As part of our learning centres we made paper airplanes. We took them outside to test them. It was very windy which caused lots of bumpy flying. 

Building submarines in P2 as part of our transport learning. The children decided that it would be fun to use the climbing equipment instead of the construction to make this particular model.
