We have been thoroughly enjoying our 'Monsters' topic in P3! In Forest School this week we used natural resources to create our very own Monsters! 🧌

In P1 we have started to learn about letters and the sounds they make. We love using the chalk, sand and colouring pens to practice writing our new sounds. We enjoy learning songs about our sounds to help them stick in our brains.

In P1 we are using our amazing forest area to it's full potential. We journeyed through the forest collecting sticks and selected the best stick to make a magic wand. We added sticky tape and decorated them with flowers, berries and leaves. We love forest schools in P1.

We are having a wonderful time welcoming the P1 class to our school. They are settling in well and starting to make new friends.

It was so lovely to see everyone back to school again yesterday and to hear all your summer holiday chatter. We are also looking forward to welcoming our new Nursery and Primary pupils to Oakwood over the coming days and weeks.

Congratulations to the P4 Sacrament children, who received their First Holy Communion today at Christ The Redeemer, Lagmore. You were amazing! A huge thank you to your friends in the class, who came to the Mass this morning to support you.
