Our week
Congrats to Nikita on her achievment of Super Kid today. Nikita has put in a huge effort all week and been working so hard. Well done!
Reminder- there is no Science Club on Tuesday.
We have had another busy week. In Numeracy we are still working with money. It was a little tricky this week but we got there in the end. In our Topic Maths we are still working on Time. We were learning how to tell the time to quarter past and half past. We played a great game on the interactive board.
In Literacy we started our new topic of narrative writing. We are very excited to get started on our story writing. We have lots of ideas already and Miss Stewart said she can't wait to read them in a few weeks!
In WAU we are continuing our topic of House and Homes. This week we looked at how people in cold climates live in igloos and we wrote lots of facts about igloos. We also looked at how people in hot climates live. We looked at how in Africa people live in Mud Huts. We wrote lots of facts about them. We hope to make some homes in a few weeks.
