Our busy week!

Parent/ Teacher Meetings- week beginning Mon 2nd Feb-Wed 4th Feb. Please be prompt for your appointment and be considerate to stay within your allocated time slot of 10 minutes. Miss Stewart will be available at another time if you feel the need to discuss anything further. Thank you for your co-operation.

P.4 Class Assembly- Wed 11th Feb 2015 @ 9.10am. You are more than welcome to attend.

Congrats to Jack on getting this week's Super Kid. Jack has been working so hard to learn his lines for the Class Assembly. Great effort!

Well, between the snow falling and lots of visitors, P.4 have had another busy week. In Literacy we were learning all about hard and soft 'g' words and in Numeracy, we started to learn about division.

On Tues and Wed, Stanmillis College came in to see how hard P.4 work. They were so pleased to see what amazing spellers we are and how we can write fantastic stories. We worked very hard but had great fun.

On Wed, we had visitors from the Teaching and Learning Programme. Again, they wanted to see how focused we are and the brilliant work that we can do. We had lots of fun learning all about story Villains and Heroes and even got some ideas for our own characters. Miss Stewart had funny music and we played a fun game.

Then the snow came and Oakwood was turned into a Winter Wonderland. Snow was everywhere. We had the most amazing time building snowmen and making snow angels. We still mananged to squeeze in some work though. We had a great day playing interactive Maths games on the Ipad and on the computers.

Well, another busy week has passed and we are certainly are ready for a restful weekend. Have a wonderful weekend and stay safe. Check back next week to see our news again. Happy weekend!
