First week back.

Congrats to Paul who was awarded the first Suoer Kid of the new twerm. Well done Paul for settling so quickly into the new term and setting an excellent example to your friends in P.4.

Welcome back-we hope you all had a lovely and restful Easter. We know we did.

P.4 are back to work an have had a very busy first week back. We had a busy week. In Maths we started new topics. The first one was great fun as we were learning all about Co-ordinates and how to use Grid References. We even worked with partners in ICT to make up our own grids. We can't wait to finish them and to display them in the classroom.

In our Literacy we had a fantastic debate through our Discursive Writing topic. We had to debate whether or not children should wear school uniforms. Some of the arguments were very interesting!

In WAU we are finishing of our Homes from the Past topic. This week we looked at household objects in the past and how things have changed. Miss Stewart showed us some pictures and we didn't even know what they were. We thought the old fashioned washing machine was a hot tub! We giggled when we found out what it was!

So that's the first week back and we are very happy that the weekend is now upon us. We will certainly will need our rest as next week is our Assessment Week. Have a lovely weekend. Check back next week to see how we have got on.
