P3 enjoyed a fantastic pottery workshop yesterday with Andrea from relatively ceramics. They made beautiful leaf bowls, connected to our topic of Autumn and we are really looking forward to getting them back once they have been glazed and fired in the kiln! 🍁 🍃 🍂

We have been looking at the topic of measurement. We went outside to find items to measure and used our feet and trundle wheels to find their length!

P3 enjoyed reading ‘The Rainbow Fish’ this week. They made rainbow fish in activity based learning with beautiful shiny scales! Great work! 🐟 🐠

P3 went on a listening walk wearing their ‘listening ears’. We have been learning about our different senses, so were using our ears to hear different noises around the playground and draw them on our whiteboards! 👂

We thoroughly enjoyed our whole school Sponsored Walk on Thursday 29^th September 2022.The sun shone and the children chattered their way around Killeaton.

Today Callas dad came in to talk to us all about his woodwork. We loved the demonstration he did for us and we're very lucky to receive special rainbow pencils afterwards! 

Well done to the P3 class who have grown the tallest sunflower so far. 🌻 

The Eco Committee, along with Miss Russell and Miss Patterson, attended the Eco Schools Awards in the Island Arts Centre where we were awarded our 9th Green Flag. Well done to the whole school community on this achievement! 😊

We are delighted to share that we have achieved our Green Flag Award again this year. Thank you so much to our whole school community in helping and assisting towards this and a special thanks to P6 and our Eco Committee - Noah, Lola and Ryan. 😊 

In P3 we have observed the changes in the weather. We then painted and wrote all about Spring. 

In P3 we have been working very hard on mastering digital time. We worked in pairs to create time challenges!
