Caleb Mu is a Superstar in P1. He works extremely hard at everything he does in class. We are very proud of him!

The NI Science Festival takes place between 19th February - 1st March and offers a wide range of events focusing on the wonders of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

Our superkid this week is Anna. Anna has worked extremely hard to learn all her sounds. We are very proud of you in P1!

We had lots of fun putting tasty patterns on our Gingerbread Men.

P1 were delighted to find that we had just enough snow this time to build a snowman. So thats exactly what we did!

We decided that the Gingerbread Man needed a better way to get across the river. We decided to look at the different construction we use in class. We then designed and made a boat. The best bit was testing to see if our Gingerbread man got wet or not.

We have enjoyed our Gingerbread activities over the last few weeks. The Gingerbread Man has decided to go on the run and we are currently trying to catch him around the school. So if you see him let us know.

David Walliams has launched a competition to celebrate World Book Day on 5th March.  David Walliams will arrive at the winning school by helicopter!   To enter the competition each school has to submit a 50 word application stating why he should visit their particular school....

P7 are in need of empty plastic 2L bottles.  We have started our Titanic theme and are going to 'recreate' the water tight compartments of the ship using plastic bottles.  If you use this size of bottle at home, we would be most grateful if you could send them into P7 once you have...

Congratulations to our P1 Superkid Paulina. She has shown real perserverence with tasks in P1. We are really proud of her.

Congratulations to our P1 superkid this week who is Callum. Callum always tries his best at everything he does. We are very proud of him in P1.

We have been learning all about snow this week. We kept hoping that we might get some of the real stuff and it finally arrived. We enjoyed going outside and exploring how it felt. We had fun writing our letters and numbers in the snow also. Hopefully we might get some more snow to play in.
