Driving in the car park continues to be a major problem with several incidences in recent weeks of pupils, parents and staff narrowly avoiding being struck on the zebra crossing. 

It is also evident that some drivers are turning right coming into the school to secure parking...

We enjoyed a lovely Monday morning this week. We each had a go at experimenting with lots of new apps on our own ipad!

Thank you to everyone who came along today to support their child/ren at the Maths themed Super Learning Day and who gave so generously at the coffee morning.

IQM assessor Mr Ryan visited Oakwood on Friday 27th February to undertake our IQM Flagship Review.  

Mr Ryan met with pupils, parents, staff, governors and visiting TLS principals.  

Mr Ryan was thoroughly impressed with the continued best practice at Oakwood....

Oakwood will be used as a Polling Station in the forthcoming General Election on Thursday 7th May 2015.

P1 Math's Day will run from 9am-10am.

It will start in the P1 classroom but depending on the weather we might have some fun outside also.

Scientist Caleb Ma is our P1 Superkid! He works brilliantly with his friends to investigate and find fair ways to test all sorts of things. Keep up the hard work Caleb!
