November 2024 Education and Training Inspectorate (ETI) Inspection Report stated:

All members of the inclusive and dynamic community of Oakwood Integrated Primary School and Nursery Unit are fully committed to the aims and values of integrated education and are passionate about their vision, Learning, Working and Playing Together for a Better Tomorrow.

The ETI will continue to work with Oakwood Integrated Primary School and Nursery Unit, including to share examples of highly effective practice from which others may learn.

On-going IQM Flagship Status

Further to our recent IQM Flagship review, I am delighted to announce that Oakwood IPS has maintained Flagship status for another year.

I am so proud of the wonderful pupils, parents, staff, governors and wider community for their continued support of Oakwood and our inclusives practice. A huge thank you to everyone who gave up their time to speak with the assessor on the day. It is very much appreciated.
