Digital Admissions Information

Useful Information about Applying for School Places.

Applying for Pre-School in the 2019-2020 school year

  • The way in which parents apply for Pre-School places is changing.  Online applications have been introduced for admission to Pre-School in the 2019/2020 school year.

  • If your child is born on or between 2 July 2015 and 1 July 2016 they will be in their target pre-school and you will be eligible to apply for admission to either a Nursery School or Nursery Unit or Playgroup for the school year 2019-2020.

  • If funded places are still available after target age children are admitted, then underage children born on or between 2 July 2016 and 1 July 2017 may also be admitted.  If your child falls within this age group, you will be eligible to apply to only a Nursery School or a Nursery Unit.

  • You should check the Education Authority website for updates on how to apply for a place, key dates in the admissions procedure and pre-school providers' admissions criteria for September 2019 admissions.
